You can delete your Forkato account at any time. Here is how, and exactly what gets removed.
In the Forkato app: open Profile, scroll to Data & account, and tap Delete account.
On the web: sign in, open your Profile page, and use Delete account at the bottom.
You will be asked to confirm. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Email hello@forkato.com from the address on your account with the subject "Account deletion request", or use the contact form. We verify ownership of the email address and then delete the account. Requests are handled within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
Deleting your account permanently removes:
Anonymous, aggregated counts of how many times a recipe URL has been imported are retained so the public Discover page keeps working. These carry no name, email, or account identifier and cannot be traced back to you once your account is gone.
Payment records for any subscription you purchased are retained by our payment processor for the period required by tax and accounting law. We do not store your card details at any point.
If you have a Premium subscription, cancel it before deleting your account so you are not billed again. You can cancel from Billing in your account.
