Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. 1

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.

  2. 2

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.

  4. 4

Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cook until onion is softened, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

  6. 6

Add shredded cheddar cheese, butter, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.

  7. 7

Add cooked pasta and crispy bacon to the skillet, toss to combine with the creamy sauce.

  8. 8

Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then serve hot.
